Sara’s story
Sara came to the UK from Syria through the UK government’s Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme, along with her mother, father and brother. Although she made quick progress at school, she initially needed support with English and was a regular attendee of both our Homework Club and After School Activities Club.
Two years on, she is an incredibly intelligent, fluent, and confident child. Sara has a close circle of friends and is a superfan of Ariana Grande. She proudly discusses her plans to become an actress when she is older.
