Information & Advice
This core RAK service provides FREE information and advice for asylum-seekers and refugees on:
- Immigration (Level 3)
- Welfare benefits
- Utilities - Gas, water, elecrtricity
- Access to health – doctors & hospitals
- Access to schools - primary & secondary
We speak a number of languages including English, French, Farsi and Arabic. A Korean interpreter is available on Mondays. Interpreters for other languages can also be arranged.
We are registered with the OISC (Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner) to give immigration advice to level 3, and also hold Avice Quality Standard Accreditation (ACS)
Where we cannot help we refer to solicitors and other specialist help.
