The Refugee Action Kingston employment and mentoring project has expanded over the past year, and having obtained additional funding for this project, we are now looking to recruit a Refugee Employment Adviser. The purpose of this role is to develop employment action plans and organise training sessions for refugees who are looking for jobs or want to set up small businesses. The post represents an excellent opportunity for someone who understands the barriers to employment that refugees face and is highly skilled at building constructive links with employers and employment support providers from all sectors in order to tackle these barriers, and develop a mentoring scheme for supporting unemployed refugees.

Hours: 21 hours per week. 

Salary: £27,601 p.a. full time equivalent (including OLW part time pro rata)
